Dear Families,

Many of our children have undergone assessments this week outside of the Year 6 SATs. All the children have taken these in their stride and so a big well done. However, I must further congratulate the attitude and maturity of all Year 6 pupils who did take the statutory tests. They have truly been a credit to themselves this week and this has been reported by every adult involved in the process. Well done you absolute superstars. You have done your best and nobody can ask for more than that! Well done!

A message from Mrs Darling and Mrs Jones…We just want to say a huge thank you to the PTA for organising some wonderful events over the year which have funded resources for our outdoor area. We have used the donated money to spruce our outdoor area and add more resources and storage to our play provision. Here are some photos. The children are thoroughly enjoying these.

We also want to say a big thank you to Mrs Phillips and the PTA for organising some chicks to be hatched in our classroom. The children are using their observational and caring skills to look after these. Please do come and have a look at them with your child next week.

A huge thank you from all of Class one, it really is appreciated.

Thank you!

We are looking forward to seeing our Year 5 and 6 girls in a football competition next week and they will be having a small coaching session on Monday afternoon next week. Good luck next Friday girls! It will be great to see our two schools working together as a team! It will be an exciting end to a busy half term as we will be closing that day (at the normal time) until Monday 2nd June.

Have a great (hopefully warm and sunny) weekend!

With every best wish,
