Dear Families,
Rather unusually, we have a beautiful forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend and so I hope that you have something lovely planned!
We have had a busy last week of term and the most notable day being Wednesday when we had our combined Class 3 and Juniors visit to the National Media Museum and the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford. It was a long day but completely worth it. The Media Museum allowed us to mix rock group tracks, be radio DJs, play with fairies and perform Waterloo on the Eurovision stage to name just a few activities. The Wonderlab section meant we could explore our senses in a variety of ways. After lunch we walked the short distance to the theatre and watched The Boy at the Back of the Class. It was fabulous. I could not have been prouder of our children. I know that I always say that our children make us proud. However, this was especially noticeable on a very long day alongside many other schools sharing the same space! Thank you very much to the children from both our schools who were outstanding ambassadors this week!
Since we are breaking up today for the half term holiday, I would just like to remind everyone of the date for our return. School re-opens on Monday 1st June. We look forward to seeing everyone well rested and ready for the final half term of the school year!
With every best wish,
