Easter Newsletter

Dear Families,

Wishing you all a very HAPPY EASTER!
This seems to have been a very short yet remarkably busy half term (well term in all honesty!) and it is wonderful to be starting the Easter break with the clocks springing forward and lighter evenings ahead.

It has been great to have been able to chat to so many of you across the parents’ evenings over the last couple of weeks and to welcome so many of you to our Easter Services in our churches. Both our services were a delightful mixture of Christian messages and celebrations. I hope that you enjoyed these as much I did.

I would like to confirm Nathan’s visit (from LAB Charity in Madagascar) as he is passing through the UK on his way to the USA. He would love to meet as many people as possible from both our schools. We will be holding an hour session with Nathan at 11am on Friday 10th April in Sand Hutton School Hall. You are welcome to drop off your children for that hour or stay and hear his stories and see the photographs of his incredible work and the ways in which our donations have supported this journey. I would like to take a collection of donations for this charity on this day and he will be sharing with us his next planned works. I realise that this is during the Easter break, but it would be great to be able to give him a big welcome. Please pop this into your diary if you possibly can.

I am sending out the safeguarding letter for April today. It is a little early I know. However, I think that there are some important messages in their which may be helpful to know over the school holiday period.

School re-opens on Monday 13th April at the usual time. Warthill Sharing Assembly will be that Friday, the 17th with Sand Hutton’s the Friday following. It is always great to welcome you to those.

Please have a wonderful Easter break, whatever you have planned and I look forward to see all the children return in April, healthy, happy and ready to learn.

With every best wish,
Beverley Pawson
