If the answer is yes, then we have a vacancy for a Catering Assistant at Sand Hutton/Warthill Primary School and a Cleaner/Caretaker at Warthill Primary school totalling 20.75 hours per week.
About the Catering Assistant role:
As a Catering Assistant you will help prepare the lunches and assist the cook to transport these lunches from Sand Hutton Primary School to Warthill Primary School, where you will serve the children, undertake general kitchen tasks such as washing up and keeping up the standards of the kitchen cleanliness and cleaning of the dining area after lunch. This role is for 11.25 hours per week, (2.25 per day). For this you will be paid £11.59 per hour.

You will support the cook with a range of duties, from preparing ingredients, cooking, and baking, through to serving children and washing up.
You will be supplied with uniform, safety footwear and all the training and support to ensure you are fully confident in your role. Mileage allowance at 45p per mile is given for this role due to transporting from one school to another. A Full Driving Licence is essential for this role.
About the Cleaning Assistant role:
We also have a vacancy for a Cleaning Assistant at Warthill Primary School.
Working for NYC as a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings.
Full training will be provided, and the hours are before or after school times, with some flexibility on start and finish time and totalling to 6 hours per week over 5 days with no weekend work. For this you will be paid £11.59 per hour.
About the additional Caretaker role:
In addition to the Cleaning Assistant role we can offer Caretaker responsibilities of locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm, and ensuring the site is fully secure. For this we will pay you an additional £11.79 to £12.38 per hour based on 3.5 hrs per week. This is term time plus 2 weeks in the holiday periods.
